Attività:
- Research, development, and quality assessment of state-of-the-art climate physical risk models
- Contributing to various aspects of the risk modelling chain, from the meteorological or hydrological hazard through the physical impact mechanisms to the valuation of risk
- Collaboratively implementing pre-processing and modelling logic into our Python codebase, while adhering to our code quality standards
- Communicating with internal stakeholders, pro-actively collecting and acting on feedback, documenting of processes and results
- Creating content and model documentation that can be shared both internally and with clients
- Supporting other team members in fulfilling our common goal of providing best-in-class climate products to MSCI’s clients
Requisiti principali:
- - Excellent analytical and coding skills (ideally Python), including processing and visualization of complex, large-scale spatial data
- Strong logical thinking with a solid background in mathematics and statistics
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a structured and independent way of working
- Highly motivated with a strong desire and ability to work with and learn from a dynamic, international team
- MSc. in mathematics, physics, geosciences, environmental or civil engineering or related fields
