Attività:
  • Assisting in the preparation of scientific documents for the 72nd annual UNSCEAR session;
  • Assisting with the research, literature review and compilation of statistical data;
  • Assisting with the preparation of scientific presentation material;
  • Providing administrative and technical support to meetings of experts and the 72nd annual session (16-20 June 2025);
  • Providing ad hoc support with administrative tasks and gaining insight in UN procedures and administrative processes;
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the UNSCEAR website, library, social media, outreach activities and other online tools.
Requisiti principali:
  • Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
    • (a) Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, higher); or
    • (b) Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).
  • The fields of study which qualify for this Job Opening are as follows: natural sciences, information or library, environmental or medical science or law, administration or management.
  • Be fully proficient in standard software applications; knowledge of graphics and referencing software is an asset.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship. Knowledge of other official UN languages is an advantage.
