Attività:
Under the supervision of a technical expert in the respective area, the intern is assigned the agreed terms of reference:
- Conduct research on existing and potential partners profiles; identify priorities, synergies, and opportunities.
- Initiate concept notes and proposals for collaboration and resource mobilization in line with the Academy and WHO corporate resource mobilization strategy
- Assist in preparation of internal and external correspondence, including briefing notes for consideration and use in outreach and follow up with various partners.
- Support documentation and communications on partnerships engagement activities.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies and plans for engagement with partners towards funding opportunities.
- Support the overall activities related to mobilization of resources, grants management, funding needs and gaps.
- Maintain project calendars and milestones; analyses information on project activities and monitors progress towards targets using various project management databases.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor and/or as required.
Requisiti principali: - Have completed the equivalent of three years of full-time studies in one of the following disciplines: International Relations, Sociology, Development Studies, public health or related fields at a university or equivalent institution prior to commencing the assignment; AND be enrolled in a course of study at a university or equivalent institution leading to a formal qualification (applicants who have already graduated may also qualify for consideration provided that they apply to the internship within six months after completion of their formal qualification).
- Experience in research and/or in drafting reports
- Experience in visualization tools like Power BI
- Creativity in writing and designing content, including storytelling skills is an advantage.
- Expert knowledge of English.
