The sales intern will join the Paris Rates Sales team to cover French and European institutional clients. The chosen candidate will assist the team with daily tasks and be exposed to a range of financial products including bonds and derivatives, as well as gain an understanding of the day to day workings of a sales desk such as market comments. A good knowledge of programming is important for helping to develop tools for automating some processes and tasks. The intern will learn to understand different clients' fixed income needs and how the platform at Nomura is here to service them. This will involve regular interactions with our trading teams in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US as well as other Nomura sales teams.
