Attività:
- Update psychosocial information concerning wellbeing and health;
- Conduct data searches on relevant topics; Especially the Secondary Trauma Survey project.
- Handle data in Excel and in SPSS(statistics programme);
- Assist Staff Counsellor in conducting awareness presentations and training on relevant topics;
- Support with the inventory of medical supplies and restocking of travel medical kits.
- Update and maintain electronic staff medical files after pre-employment medical examinations, vaccination inoculations etc
- Under delegated authority assist with medical administration (filing and digitalising documents, preparing forms for signature etc.)
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the unit.
Requisiti principali:
- - All Candidates must be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance. Completed three years of university studies, BA, in one of the following areas: psychology, social sciences, or medicine.
- Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers therefore; practical experience is not an essential prerequisite for selection. However, practical experience that is relevant to the work of the Court may be considered an asset. Applicants must have less than three years of relevant full-time professional experience to be considered for an internship.
- English and French are the official working languages of the Court. For this internship, proficiency in English is required, and working knowledge of French and/or Dutch would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possesses strong teamwork skills (listens, consults and communicates proactively).
- Has acquired a good standard of computer skills and statistical analysis (including Microsoft Office applications).
- Good skills in Microsoft standard applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Some knowledge of psycho-social issues;
- Continuous commitment to learning;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
- Ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate politely and effectively;
- Some previous working experience, especially having worked with people, is an asset;
- Personal integrity.
