• Maintaining the portfolio database up to date.
• Follow up on the renewal of the portfolio and its related documentation.
• Providing support on the underwriting analyses - of new submissions, of our business practices, and risk assessment for new and existing clients.
• Conducting research on Spanish and Portuguese insurance markets to identify potential targets and opportunities for new business development.
• Conducting financial analysis for new and existing clients, both commercial and financial companies.
• Supporting us with preparation of insurance proposals, all kinds of documents, marketing materials and sales presentations.
• Contributing to document organization to ensure they are complete and accurately processed in our systems.
• Entering risk and policy data into the systems within the defined service level agreements.
• Work with the operations team to review and monitor key underwriting controls 
• Assist, participate and understand in the implementation of the UW process.
• Develop broker relationships through regular interactions on documentation and premiums

• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Proactive approach in resolving problems and in taking ownership of tasks
• Experience working within a team and with internal and external stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and analytical skills, financial analysis knowledge and digital literacy
• Some experience working with commercial insurance lines of business and related products is an advantage
• Legal knowledge and/or interest on corporate law are advantageous
• Advanced level MS office Skills and ability to understand new systems.
