Flight Control Law Development & Simulation: Assist in the design, modeling, and refinement of flight control laws to meet performance and handling requirements.
Develop FCC dynamic algorithms: Design and optimize dynamic algorithms for the Flight Control Computer (FCC) to ensure reliable aircraft responsiveness.
Implement control strategies in MATLAB/Simulink: Translate aerodynamic data and control theory into high-fidelity digital models.
Conduct Software-In-The-Loop (SIL) simulations to validate control architecture stability: Run rigorous tests to analyze system performance and safety margins.
Hardware: Lead trade studies to evaluate, select, and integrate core flight control hardware for your specific project scope, ensuring seamless communication between sensors, actuators, and the FCC.
Requisiti principali
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Language skills: English Fluent, good German skills would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous project team experience (e.g., Design Build Fly, Formula SAE, university rocketry/UAV teams).
Familiarity with simulation environments like Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL).
Exposure to hardware integration, avionics, or basic embedded systems.
Eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
