Toyota, Internship Automotive Forecasting

With increasing electrification and a multi-pathway Powertrain strategy to accommodate customer needs, it becomes increasingly important to reliably estimate the future European customer demand for the “right Power applied to the right vehicle.” This project focuses on using AI to estimate in a data-driven method future European customer demand --> Vehicle and Powertrain sales (BEV, PHEV, HEV, ICE). Your role will be:

Data scientist

• Further refine established AI market forecasting model
• Test and implement state-of-art algorithms --> further enhance forecasting accuracy
• Further enhance Model architecture to facilitate model maintainability
• Further refine User Interface to ensure easy operability
• Operation of AI-model.

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language).
• You are currently following a Master's programme in the field of computer engineering, mathematics, data science or engineering with a profound skill in data science.
• From a previous internship or student job, you have experience in AI/Machine-Learning using Python and DataIku.
• You are open-minded and keen to work proactively in a multi-cultural business environment.
• You are highly motivated with a passion for mobility.
• You are able to summarize and explain complex technical information in a simple & visual way.
• You are available from the 4th of January (or sooner) for a 6 months fulltime internship in Brussels. 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
