Kvadrat, Internship Product Development

Your tasks will vary depending on ongoing projects and where they are in the development process. They may include:

Textile and colour development

• Supporting ongoing curtain developments
• Working with colour blankets, lab dips, development samples, and warp setting cards
• Preparing and organising textile and colour samples

Product development and testing

• Preparing materials for testing and evaluation
• Supporting different stages of the development process
• Working with textile performance and product requirements

Collection and product information

• Supporting collection mapping and product overviews
• Updating digital development overviews
• Contributing to naming processes and product information

Research and communication

• Conducting research and market analysis
• Preparing presentations, colour cards, samples, and other development material for internal teams and sales

• You are currently studying textile design, design, textile engineering, or a related field and have a strong interest in textiles, materials, and colour.
• You enjoy working hands-on and appreciate both the creative side of development and the detailed, systematic work needed to turn ideas into finished products.
• You are collaborative, organised, and detail-oriented, take responsibility for your tasks, and are comfortable working across different projects. You communicate confidently in written and spoken English.
• Most importantly, you are curious, open to learning, and interested in becoming part of a collaborative design and development environment.
